We met here on Saturdays around noon, sometimes earlier. The moment we saw each other was magical. I can still remember her smile, her very essence. She was perfect in every way, shape and form. And we thought our romance would last forever.
It would have, but there were decisions that were wrong, on the spot, without thought, in haste. It no longer matters; I will remember her as I saw her last. In some ways, it is best this way. My only hope is that she feels the same. In each others mind, we will always be in our early twenties.
